The invention belongs to the field of sponge cities, and particularly provides an intelligent green roof system for a sponge city. The system is arranged at the top of a house and comprises a first storage device, a second storage device and a main body purification device which are sequentially arranged from outside to inside and do not communicate with one another; the first storage device comprises an electric power storage area, a first planting area and a first water storage area arranged below the electric power storage area and the first planting area; the second storage device comprises a second planting area and a second water storage area arranged below the second planting area; and the main body purification device comprises a soil layer, a water distribution pipe with water seepage holes in the surface, a filtering layer and a water storage area which are sequentially arranged from top to bottom. According to the system, rainwater can be effectively purified, the water storage capacity of the green roof system is improved, plants can be kept alive in rainy seasons, and an irrigation water source is provided for the ground plants.
