The invention relates to a municipal road water supply and drainage structure and a construction method thereof. The structure comprises a plurality of water inlet grooves, a plurality of water inlet pipelines, a plurality of overhaul wells and a plurality of main water pipelines; the water inlet grooves are connected with the overhaul wells through the water inlet pipelines; one end of each water inlet pipeline is communicated with each water inlet groove, and the other end is communicated with each overhaul well; and the multiple overhaul wells are communicated with one another through the main water pipelines, a first filter screen is arranged in each water inlet groove, an auxiliary water pipe is arranged between each water inlet groove and each water inlet pipeline, one end of an auxiliary water pipe is communicated with each water inlet groove and located above the first filter screen, the other end of the auxiliary water pipe is communicated with each water inlet pipeline, a second filter screen is arranged in each overhaul well and located below a water blocking valve, and each main water pipeline is located below the second filter screen. The water supply and drainage structure has the effect of reducing the situation of road water collection caused by blockage of the water inlet pipeline.
