The pavement slab rapid breaking construction method comprises the steps that a slab seam line between a to-be-broken breaking slab and an intact slab is marked on a pavement slab, and a cutting line is marked at the position, close to the slab seam line, of the breaking slab; manual chiseling is conducted on the position, between the cutting line and the slab seam line, of the breaking slab, and a protection area is formed; the center position of the breaking slab is broken, and a center breaking area and a free edge of the breaking slab are formed; crushing is carried out from the central breaking area to the slab seam line by using a crusher from inside to outside; and then pouring of the repairing slab is carried out. According to the application, a mode of manually chiseling out the protection area is adopted, so that the adjacent intact slabs can be effectively prevented from being extruded and damaged when the crushing machine is used for crushing the breaking slab.
