The invention discloses a Tianxing mud purple clay mud material which comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 35-45% of purple mud, 35-45% of green mud, 8-12% of clay bone and 8-12% of stone needle. The preparation process comprises the steps of selecting a purple clay mud raw material, and removing impurities; weathering, drying and curing the purple clay mud mineral aggregate; crushing the purple clay mineral aggregate, sieving to obtain powder with different particle sizes, and mixing in proportion to obtain purple clay mud mineral aggregate powder; adding clear water, sealing and aging to obtain slurry, and removing heavy metals; and blending and mixing the mud material according to a formula proportion, aging, beating and pressing into clay strips for preparing the Tianxing mud purple clay pot. The purple clay pot fired with the Tianxing mud material is rich and natural in color, smooth in hand feeling, not prone to deformation, high in yield, high in iron content and high in air permeability, the taste of tea can be improved, and the water quality can also be improved.
