The invention discloses a quick-edging rail-burning-free steel rail grinding wheel which comprises an aluminum alloy base body and a grinding body, the grinding body is sleeved with a glass fiber reinforcement layer, and the grinding end face of the grinding body is provided with protrusions and chip containing heat dissipation grooves. According to the grinding wheel, the structure of the grinding end face of the grinding wheel is designed, and the protrusions and the chip containing heat dissipation grooves are formed in the grinding end face of the grinding wheel, so that heat dissipation can be accelerated through the chip containing heat dissipation grooves in the grinding end face even if the grinding end face of the grinding wheel is not edged in the steel rail grinding initial stage of a new grinding wheel, the bluing phenomenon of a steel rail is solved; meanwhile, heat generated in the grinding process can be reduced through the protrusions on the grinding end face; and under the same grinding pressure, the protrusions structure is adopted on the grinding end face of the grinding wheel, so that the stress area can be effectively reduced, a binding agent on the surface layer of the protrusion structure can bear higher pressure intensity, and therefore, abrasive particles can rapidly fall off and be exposed, and rapid edging of the new grinding wheel is realized.
