The steel rail grinding wagon comprises a grinding trolley, and the grinding trolley comprises a grinding trolley body; the grinding mechanism comprises a grinding beam and at least two grinding tool assemblies, and the grinding tool assemblies are detachably installed at the two positions of the grinding beam; the grinding beam is rotationally installed on the grinding trolley body and can rotate so as to switch the grinding tool assemblies to be located in the working position and the supply position. The grinding tool assembly located at the working position is used for grinding a rail bar of a rail, the grinding tool assembly located at the supply position can be detached, the structural design is reasonable, the grinding tool assembly with the loss of the working position reaching the limit can be switched to the supply position through rotation of the grinding beam, and the grinding tool assembly to be operated at the supply position is switched to the working position; in the whole process, the rail bar can be polished under the state that the steel rail polishing wagon is not stopped, and the automatic process is achieved.
