The method comprises the following steps that firstly, the inner wall of the water tower is subjected to leaking stoppage; the leveling device is used for leveling the interior of the water tower; 2, the inner wall of the water tower is repaired: repairing the inner wall of the water tower by using a repairing material; and 3, water tower inner wall anti-corrosion treatment is performed: carrying out anti-corrosion treatment on the water tower inner wall by using an anti-corrosion agent; and 4, the outer wall of the water tower: repairing the outer wall of the water tower is repaired. According to the water cooling tower repaired and transformed through the scheme, the circulating cooling effect of the water cooling tower is guaranteed, falling of concrete powder of the tower body is eliminated, the safety of the water cooling tower is improved, and the water cooling tower has the advantages of being low in maintenance cost and environmentally friendly.
