The invention discloses a flatness measuring device for building engineering construction. The flatness measuring device comprises: a base; universal wheels with brakes arranged at four corners of the lower end of the base; a supporting vertical beam fixed in the middle of the upper end of the base; a supporting cross beam having one end fixed on the supporting vertical beam and the other end extending out; a driving device; a balancing device; and a measuring dial indicator. The driving device is rotatably fixed at the extending end of the supporting cross beam, the upper end of a rotating shaft of the driving device is fixed at one end of the fixing rod, and the measuring dial indicator is slidably fixed at the other end of the fixing rod; a bottom surface firing pin of the measuring dial indicator and the bottom surface of the universal wheel are on the same horizontal plane; the balancing device is mounted on a rotating shaft of the driving device to keep the rotating shaft running stably. The flatness measuring device is simple to operate, convenient to detect, high in detection efficiency, high in working safety, suitable for large-area ground flatness detection and high in detection accuracy.
