According to the sewage pipeline transformation method, a vertical shaft is dug at a to-be-transformed sewage pipeline to transform the to-be-transformed sewage pipeline; then, a connecting channel of the current construction section and the adjacent construction section of the sewage pipe to be transformed is blocked, water guiding is conducted on the current construction section, and segmented water guiding is achieved; the sewage pipe in the current construction section is subjected to desilting operation, so that the cleanness of the construction environment is guaranteed; and finally, a new pipeline is installed in the sewage pipe in the current construction section, a closed water test is conducted on the new pipeline, and when the result of the closed water test is qualified, construction of the current construction section is ended, and construction of the next construction section is started. According to the method, segmented sewage transformation is realized through earlier stage treatment of the sewage pipeline and installation and test of a new pipeline, and a transformation process is set and an operation environment is improved, so that the difficulty of sewage transformation is reduced.
