The invention relates to the field of cement grinding aids, and particularly discloses an early strength cement grinding aid and a preparation method thereof. The early strength cement grinding aid is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 20 to 40 parts of triethanolamine, 5 to 12 parts of cyclodextrin, 15 to 30 parts of organic acid and 1 to 10 parts of alcohol compound. The preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, uniformly mixing triethanolamine and an alcohol compound to prepare a mixture; and S2, adding cyclodextrin and organic acid into the mixture, and uniformly mixing to obtain the early strength cement grinding aid. According to the invention, the problem of cement efflorescence is solved while the early strength of the cement is enhanced; in addition, the preparation method has the advantage of being easy to operate.
