The invention discloses a porous SiC ceramic with high porosity, high strength and low thermal conductivity and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: ball-milling carbon fibers; prefabricating the carbon fibers; preparing precursor slurry; performing heating and stirring, freezing, vacuum freeze-drying, and thermal oxidation curing; and finally, performing pyrolysis and decarbonization treatment to obtain the porous SiC ceramic with high porosity, high strength and low thermal conductivity. According to the preparation method, the hollow porous SiC fibers are introduced as pore wall units, so that the compressive strength of the porous material is improved on the premise of ensuring the porous functionality and not reducing the porosity of the porous SiC, the defect that the compressive property of an existing porous SiC ceramic is relatively low under high porosity is overcome, and the problem that thermal conductivity of the porous SiC ceramic is reduced to a certain extent can be solved; the prepared porous SiC ceramic has a wide application prospect in the field of aerospace thermal insulation materials.
本发明公开了一种高孔隙率高强度低导热率多孔SiC陶瓷及其制备方法,该制备方法包括球磨碳纤维,预制碳纤维,配制先驱体浆料,然后经过加热搅拌、冷冻、真空冷冻干燥,热氧化固化,最后经过热解、脱碳处理得到高孔隙率高强度低导热率多孔SiC陶瓷。该制备方法通过引入中空多孔SiC纤维做为孔壁单元,在保证多孔功能性和不降低多孔SiC孔隙率的前提下,提高多孔材料的抗压强度,解决了目前多孔SiC陶瓷在高孔隙率下压缩性能较低的缺点,并在一定程度上降低其热导率,制备得到的多孔SiC陶瓷在航空航天隔热材料领域具有广泛的应用前景。
