The invention belongs to the technical field of porous ceramic materials, and particularly relates to high-porosity cordierite porous ceramic and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing materials containing starch by a dry method, and adding water to obtain slurry; performing ultrasonic treatment to uniformly mix the slurry; heating the slurry to gelatinize the starch; pre-cooling to accelerate seepage of water in the gelatinized starch; freeze-drying at low temperature to obtain a green body; and sintering at 1450 DEG C, preserving heat for 2 hours, cooling to room temperature along with the furnace, and taking out to obtain the high-porosity cordierite porous ceramic. The high-porosity cordierite ceramic carrier with the median pore diameter of 6-28 microns and the porosity of 48-77% is obtained through selection of the pore forming agent and optimization of the preparation process, the pore diameter distribution is narrow, the pore parameters required by a diesel particulate filter (DPF) which is used in a large number and meets the limit value standard of the national six regulations are met, and the high-porosity cordierite ceramic carrier has actual application prospects.
本发明属于多孔陶瓷材料技术领域,具体涉及一种高孔隙率的堇青石多孔陶瓷及其制备方法。该制备方法包括步骤:将包含淀粉的物料干法混匀后加水得浆料;超声使浆料混合均匀;加热浆料使淀粉糊化;预冷却,以加速糊化淀粉中水分的渗出;低温冷冻干燥获得生坯;在1450℃烧结并保温2h,然后随炉冷却至室温后取出,制得高孔隙率的堇青石多孔陶瓷。本发明通过造孔剂的选择和制备工艺的优化,得到中值孔径6‑28μm、孔隙率48‑77%的高孔隙率堇青石陶瓷载体,且孔径分布较窄,满足国六法规限值标准并且大量使用的柴油颗粒过滤器DPF所要求的孔参数,具有实际的应用前景。
