The rainwater treatment device comprises a barrel, a filter cartridge and a valve plate mechanism; a vertically-arranged partition plate is arranged in the barrel and divides the barrel into an overflow chamber and a water inlet chamber; the overflow chamber is provided with a water outlet; the water inlet chamber is provided with a water inlet and a backflow opening, and the water inlet is positioned below the backflow opening; the filter cartridge is arranged in the overflow chamber; a water inlet of the filter cartridge communicates with the water inlet chamber, and a water outlet of the filter cartridge communicates with the water outlet; a gap is formed between the outer wall of the filter cartridge and the inner wall of the barrel, and the filter cartridge is used for filtering rainwater; and the valve plate mechanism is arranged in the water inlet chamber and used for closing the water inlet when the water level of the water inlet chamber rises and opening the water inlet when the water level of the water inlet chamber drops. According to the rainwater treatment device, initial rainwater and rainwater in the middle and later periods can be separated, the initial rainwater can be directly purified and then discharged, and the surface runoff control rate and the non-point source pollution reduction rate are increased.
