The ladder comprises two ladder rods and a plurality of crosspieces, wherein one of the ladder rods is provided with the safe placement angle indicating device; the ladder is characterized in that the safe placement angle indicating device comprises a main body part and a spirit bubble, the main body part is provided with a connecting part located on one side and a mounting part laterally protruding out of the connecting part, the connecting part is sleeved and axially restrained on the ladder rod, the connecting part can rotate around the axis of the connecting part, the top surface of the mounting part is an inclined mounting surface, and the spirit bubble is mounted on the mounting part and is exposed out of the mounting surface. During storage, the main body part is rotated to enable the mounting part to be located below the crosspieces between the ladder rods, and the mounting part is not located on one side of the laterally-protruding ladder rods, so that space is not occupied, transportation is convenient, and meanwhile the safe placement angle indicating device is not prone to being damaged.
