Disclosed is an overhanging element, comprising a base arranged to be positioned on an elevation pad of a surface, which base is provided with a window that extends longitudinally in the base, the window being dimensioned such that a wing of an intermediate part placed on the elevation pad can pass through it and thus guide a translational movement of the overhanging element with respect to the elevation pad on which it is placed, which base comprises, at a first longitudinal end, a stop member that extends substantially perpendicularly relative to the base and that is formed by at least one flap provided with a notch that extends up the height of the flap, the notch having such a depth as to allow a section of the flap situated between the notch and a distal end of the flap to be bent and/or removed.
