The invention discloses a sectional material for bonding glass shutters. The sectional material comprises a main sectional material and two glass baffle plates, a molecular sieve desiccant strip clamping groove is formed in the front surface of the main sectional material, and protruding ribs are correspondingly arranged on the two outer side edges of the molecular sieve desiccant strip clamping groove; and the glass baffles are correspondingly clamped into the main sectional material from the two side edges of the main sectional material. The invention further provides a manufacturing method of the sectional material for bonding the glass shutters. According to the sectional material for bonding the glass shutters, the molecular sieve desiccant strip clamping groove is formed in the main sectional material and used for clamping molecular sieve desiccant strips, so that the light-transmitting area of window sashes of the manufactured hollow glass shutters is increased.
