The invention relates to a device and a method for monitoring irregular settlement of two sides of a subway track, and belongs to the field of track traffic transportation. The irregular settlement monitoring device comprises a sensor module, a data acquisition module, a data processing module and a state evaluation module. The irregular settlement monitoring method comprises the following steps: continuously measuring and calculating acceleration data of each carriage by a subway train fleet provided with a monitoring device; judging whether the left and right acceleration vector included angle of the subway train carriage is greater than a first threshold value; judging whether the angle is larger than the first threshold value or not when other carriages of the subway train pass through the position; and sequentially analyzing whether the irregular settlement phenomenon of the two sides of the suspected rail occurs on all the subway trains passing through the suspected settlement point or not in the same evaluation grade time period or other evaluation grade time periods. According to the invention, the automation of irregular settlement monitoring of the two sides of the subway track is realized, and the efficiency and the automation degree of existing regular manual inspection can be improved and perfected.
