The existing masonry load bearing wall reinforcing structure comprises a masonry load bearing wall and a steel reinforcement framework, a plurality of through-wall holes are formed in the masonry load bearing wall, the steel reinforcement framework comprises steel reinforcement meshes which are arranged on the two faces of the masonry load bearing wall and steel tie bars which are connected with the steel reinforcement meshes on the two faces, the steel reinforcement meshes are formed by binding longitudinal reinforcing steel bars and horizontal reinforcing steel bars according to a preset interval, after the tie steel bars penetrate through the through-wall holes, the two ends hook the steel reinforcement meshes on the two faces of the masonry load bearing wall respectively, the through-wall holes are filled with expansion mortar, and the two faces of the masonry load bearing wall are covered with a layer of concrete spraying layer. Compared with the prior art, the invention provides a treatment method of an existing old building, compared with traditional abandonment or direct demolition reconstruction, the structural bearing capacity and safety requirements after reinforcement and reconstruction are met, new use functions can be provided for the existing building, sustainability of the existing building engineering is facilitated, and the purpose of comprehensive utilization of the existing building is achieved.
