The riverway filtering device comprises a transverse plate, two vertical plates, a clearing basket, a collecting basket, a screw rod and a rubber rod, the two vertical plates are vertically fixed to the two sides of the lower portion of the transverse plate, the two vertical plates are both perpendicular to the transverse plate, sliding grooves are vertically formed in the vertical plates, vertical grooves are vertically formed in the positions, at the front ends of the sliding grooves, of the surfaces of the vertical plates, the vertical grooves communicate with the interiors of the sliding grooves, the vertical grooves are formed in the middles of the front ends of the sliding grooves, and the clearing basket is transversely arranged at the front ends of the lower portions of the vertical plates. The clearing basket capable of being driven by a first winch and a second winch to ascend, descend and turn over is arranged at the front end of a blocking net, the collecting basket is arranged at the rear end of the blocking net, and when much floating garbage is filtered at the front end of the blocking net, the floating garbage can be collected through the clearing basket and conveyed into the collecting basket to be collected; and then the garbage in the collecting basket can be conveniently cleared, and the garbage on the front side of the blocking net is conveniently cleared.
