Asphalt mixture and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to the field of road construction, and particularly discloses an asphalt mixture and a preparation method thereof. The asphalt mixture comprises the following components in parts by weight: 65-70 parts of a macadam mixture; 4.2-4.6 parts of mineral powder; 2-8 parts of an asphalt raw material; and 0.2-0.4 part of blend fiber. The blend fiber is prepared by blending the following raw materials by mass: 80-85% of wood fiber; 7-15% of polyacrylonitrile fiber; and 2-8% of polyester fiber. The preparation method comprises the following steps: stirring and drying the macadam mixture in a drying barrel, adding the mineral powder and the blend fibers, and uniformly conducting mixing to obtain a base material; and heating the asphalt raw material, conducting mixing and stirring with the base material, and uniformly conducting mixing to obtain the asphalt mixture. The asphalt mixture disclosed by the invention has excellent water stability, and an asphalt concrete pavement formed by the asphalt mixture is not easy to damage in an application process.
