The invention relates to an attachment rack for fixing a tower crane on a bridge tower and a construction method thereof. The attachment rack comprises an attachment frame, an attachment pull rod and an attachment support, wherein a U-shaped connecting lug plate and a trapezoidal connecting lug plate are arranged on the two opposite sides of the attachment frame along the frame edge respectively, the two sides of the U-shaped connecting lug plate extend in the direction perpendicular to the frame edge to form protruding parts, and the two ends of the trapezoidal connecting lug plate extend towards the two sides along the frame edge to form pyramid parts; the attachment pull rod comprises a first attachment pull rod and a second attachment pull rod, the first end of the first attachment pull rod is hinged to the protruding parts of the U-shaped connecting lug plate, and the first end of the second attachment pull rod is hinged to the pyramid parts of the trapezoidal connecting lug plate; and the attachment support comprises a wedge-shaped seat body, threaded holes which are vertically aligned at intervals are formed in the wedge-shaped seat body, through holes corresponding to the threaded holes are formed in the second end of the first attachment pull rod and the second end of the second attachment pull rod, a double-thread screw penetrates through the through holes, and threads of the double-thread screw are fixedly connected with the threaded holes in a threaded mode. The construction efficiency is improved while the construction safety is guaranteed, and the construction cost is saved.
