The invention discloses an automatic spraying system and an automatic spraying method for building wall slurry. The system comprises a movement mechanism and a spraying mechanism, wherein the movement mechanism comprises a sliding trolley, a lifting guide rail and a lifting driving part; the lifting guide rail is mounted on the sliding trolley; the spraying mechanism comprises a spraying gun, a mounting assembly and an angle detection unit; the mounting assembly is mounted on the lifting guide rail and is driven by the lifting driving part to lift up and down along the lifting guide rail; the spraying gun is rotatably mounted on the mounting assembly and is used for spraying the slurry to a wall to be sprayed; and the angle detection unit is used for detecting an included angle between a spraying surface of the spraying gun and a wall forming theoretical surface, so as to adjust a horizontal rotation angle of the spraying gun to guarantee that the spraying surface of the spraying gun is parallel to the wall forming theoretical surface.
