The invention relates to a preparation method of bentonite slurry. The preparation method comprises the following steps of 1) assembling a bentonite slurry stirring and pumping system; (2) hoisting bagged bentonite to be unloaded to a middle bin frame; (3) preparing the bentonite slurry through high-speed stirring of a slurry stirring cylinder; 4) continuously stirring the bentonite slurry at a low speed by a slurry storage cylinder; and (5) grouting an underground diaphragm wall groove by a pumping unit. According to the preparation method of the bentonite slurry, the performance requirement for pumping the bentonite slurry in the construction process of the underground diaphragm wall is met, the bentonite slurry generates static pressure on the inner wall of the underground diaphragm wall groove, a waterproof film is formed, water on the inner wall of the underground diaphragm wall groove is adsorbed, surface expansion of the wall of the underground diaphragm wall groove is accelerated, water seepage of the underground diaphragm wall groove wall is prevented, overall or local stability of the underground diaphragm wall groove wall is maintained, and collapse of a soil layer on the wall face of the underground diaphragm wall groove is effectively restrained.
