The invention discloses a cable tower foundation structure combined with bridge abutments and a construction method thereof. The cable tower foundation structure comprises cable tower foundations which are located on the bridge abutments on the two banks of a bridge and meet the requirement that a cable crane covers the whole bridge, and the cable tower foundations are composed of expanded bridge abutment structures, reinforcing meshes, embedded parts and supporting piles; the size of the bridge abutment back walls and the size of enlarged foundations are enlarged to form the enlarged bridge abutment structures, the reinforcing meshes and the embedded parts which enable the bearing capacity and the structural strength of the bridge abutment foundations to meet the stress requirement are arranged in the enlarged bridge abutment structures, and the supporting piles are installed on the embedded parts. According to the invention, selection, design and construction of the cable tower foundation position under the requirement that the cable crane covers the full bridge are achieved through a simple method, construction is easy, convenient and rapid, a permanent structure is fully utilized, the bridge abutments serving as the cable tower foundations do not need to be dismantled after construction is finished, the construction cost is saved, and the construction period is shortened.
