The invention discloses a construction method for sealing a settlement post-cast strip in advance. The construction method comprises the following steps that S1, after top plates on the two sides of the settlement post-cast strip are constructed, water retaining ridges are symmetrically poured at the positions, 130-180 mm away from a construction joint, of the two sides of the post-cast strip, and grooves and tongues are formed in the water retaining ridges to serve as supports for containing post-cast strip prefabricated cover plates; S2, after the water retaining ridges are maintained for 7 days, the prefabricated cover plates prefabricated in advance are sequentially placed on the grooves and tongues of the water retaining ridges, and the prefabricated cover plates cover the settlement post-cast strip; S3, gaps between the prefabricated cover plates and gaps between the water retaining ridges and the prefabricated cover plates are tightly blocked through sealing factice; S4, DN125 steel sleeves are arranged on the paved row of prefabricated cover plates every 6-8m, and one end of each steel sleeve penetrates through the corresponding prefabricated cover plate; and S5, the prefabricated cover plates, the water retaining ridges and waterproof layers and protective layers on the steel sleeves are constructed according to a garage top plate waterproof method, and then normal backfilling can be conducted. According to the construction method, the measures for sealing the post-cast strip in advance are achieved, engineering construction such as top plate backfilling and outdoor pipe networks can be conducted in advance, and the construction period is shortened.
