The invention discloses an opening control system for a charging port cover of an electric vehicle. The opening control system comprises an intelligent driving module, a central control module and a charging module, the intelligent driving module comprises an induction mechanism and a charging port cover lock control module, the charging port cover lock control module is used for controlling opening of a charging port cover, the charging port cover lock control module is applied to a controller connected with a fast charging port cover and a slow charging port cover, and the induction mechanism is used for recognizing the charging module; the central control module comprises a central control screen and a main controller; the central control screen is used for receiving and displaying information of the charging module and is remotely connected with the charging port cover lock control module; through remote communication interaction between the intelligent charging pile and the electric vehicle, automatic induction of the nearby charging pile and control of opening and closing of the corresponding charging port cover, and through detection and judgment of the charging port cover and the charging pile, manual operation of a user in the charging starting process is reduced, charging convenience and user experience are improved, and vehicle intelligence is improved.
