Inclined concave hanging grooves are reserved in the outer side face of the building main body exterior wall, the coarse plastering cement mortar is applied to the outer side face of the building main body exterior wall and the interiors of the inclined concave hanging grooves, and net-shaped grooves are arranged in coarse plastering cement mortar faces in a scraping manner; and upper inclined convex hanging strips and lower inclined convex hanging strips are arranged on the back faces of the tiles, and coarse plastering cement mortar layers and the tiles are connected into a whole through the applying cement mortar which is embedded into the net-shaped grooves and covers the upper inclined convex hanging strips and the lower inclined convex hanging strips. According to the exterior wall tile applying structure, the connection strength between the building main body exterior wall and the tiles not only depends on the bonding acting force of the coarse plastering cement mortar and the applying cement mortar, but also mechanical anchoring force is formed based on an embedding structure, so that the building main body exterior wall and the tiles are connected into a whole more stably.
