The invention relates to a rainwater garden, in particular to a rainwater collecting type roof rainwater garden which comprises a support arranged on a roof, the support is in a shape of frustum of a prism and comprises straight rods fixed to the roof, and the straight rods are located at the side edges of the frustum of a prism; the support further comprises a plurality of planting plates arranged between the two adjacent straight rods, the two ends of each planting plate are connected with the two adjacent straight rods respectively, and the planting plates are used for containing flowerpots; and the support further comprises a sealing plate located on the top of the support. Plants are planted in the air through the three-dimensional support, the three-dimensional air rainwater garden is manufactured, the space for people to walk on the roof ground is basically not occupied, and therefore, the problem that the plants on the roof occupy the activity space of people is solved; and because the plants are not planted on a plane but are planted in a space in a stacked manner, the planting area is greatly increased, and the rainwater absorption amount of the plants is greatly improved.
