The invention discloses an ultrahigh-temperature ceramic roller bar for a roller kiln and a preparation method thereof, and aims to meet the use condition of 1700 DEG C ultrahigh temperature; the roller bar comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 32-38% of alpha aluminum oxide and 46-52% of fused corundum sand ultrafine powder; 10-14% of silica powder; 1-5% of active nano aluminum oxide micro powder; the preparation method of the roller bar comprises the following steps: (1) mixing the raw materials and adding into a ball mill for water milling for 6 hours to prepare slurry; (2) dehydrating and filter-pressing through a filter press, and then preparing a mud column through a vacuum pug mill; (3) installing a mold by using a vacuum tube extruding machine, and performing extrusion molding; (4) putting on an aluminum alloy bracket, covering the roller blank with cotton cloth, and drying in the shade for 48 hours; (5) drying with hot air at 65-70 DEG C for 24 hours; and (6) putting into a pit kiln, heating for 36 hours to 1600 DEG C, keeping the highest temperature of 1600 DEG C for 24 hours, stopping fire, and cooling for 72 hours.
