The buckling-restrained brace member is characterized in that an upper-layer wood sleeve is arranged at the top of a lower-layer wood sleeve, an inner core steel core is arranged between the lower-layer wood sleeve and the upper-layer wood sleeve, T-shaped through holes which communicate with each other are formed in the two sides of the lower-layer wood sleeve and the two sides of the upper-layer wood sleeve, fixing assemblies used for fixing the inner core steel core are arranged in the lower-layer wood sleeve and the upper-layer wood sleeve, two symmetrical connecting grooves are formed in the top of the lower-layer wood sleeve, a plurality of clamping grooves are formed in the lower-layer wood sleeve at equal intervals, and two groups of symmetrical clamping assemblies used for fixing the lower-layer wood sleeve and the upper-layer wood sleeve are arranged in the upper-layer wood sleeve. The problems that an existing buckling-restrained brace structure is large in dead weight, not ideal in energy consumption effect and tedious in assembly process, and the use range of the buckling-restrained brace structure is affected are solved.
