The invention provides a mineral ceramic material which comprises the following components in parts by weight: 10-50 parts of a microporous mineral material, 1-10 parts of carbonate and 1-5 parts of organic acid. The ceramic-based hydrogen storage and production material prepared from the mineral ceramic material can achieve the purpose of hydrogen production through continuous hydrolysis reaction. The invention provides a ceramic-based hydrogen storage and production material raw material composition comprising the following components in parts by weight: 1-30 parts of nano silicon powder, 10-50 parts of an inorganic cementing material and 12-50 parts of the mineral ceramic material. The hydrogen storage and production material prepared from the raw materials does not need a high-temperature firing process, and energy conservation and environmental protection can be achieved. The invention further provides the ceramic-based hydrogen storage and production material prepared from the ceramic-based hydrogen storage and production material raw material composition, a preparation scheme of the ceramic-based hydrogen storage and production material, particles prepared from the ceramic-based hydrogen storage and production material and an application of the ceramic-based hydrogen storage and production material. The hydrogen storage and production material can continuously release hydrogen, and hydrogen production water is stable in pH value, alkalescent, suitable for drinking and the like, and has a wider application range.
