The invention provides a control method for a pneumatic locomotive door. Opening and closing actions of the locomotive door are controlled by a pneumatic system. According to the control method of the locomotive door, automation of door opening, door closing and secondary pressing is achieved through control of the pneumatic system, the driving force of door opening and door closing can be adjusted by adjusting the air inflow of an air cylinder, and large driving force of secondary pressing can be achieved; in the door closing process, the door can be stopped for preventing pinching, and large door closing driving force can still be guaranteed under the condition of restarting; compared with motor control, economy and practicability are achieved, and cost is reduced; and a motor is complex in structure, and when a fault occurs, maintenance is difficult, time consumption is long, and the motor replacement cost is high. The pneumatic system is safe, reliable and low in noise, has an anti-explosion function and is suitable for actual working conditions of locomotives.
