According to the gate dam fishtail pier structure, the structure of a fishtail pier is divided into a fishtail pier middle-upper section, a fishtail pier foundation section and a fishtail pier bottom plate section from top to bottom, and the fishtail pier bottom plate section is poured into a pier groove in an energy dissipation facility bottom plate; meanwhile, an anchor bar bundle with the upper end and the lower end extending into the fishtail pier foundation section and the energy dissipation facility bottom plate correspondingly is buried in the fishtail pier bottom plate section; therefore, the strength of the fishtail pier structure can be enhanced, the possibility that a connecting part of the fishtail pier foundation section and the energy dissipation facility bottom plate becomes a weak part is reduced, and the erosion resistance of the fishtail pier is improved; and moreover, the integrality of the fishtail pier and the bottom plate of the energy dissipation facility is enhanced, the frequency and amplitude of reciprocating vibration of the fishtail pier caused by water flow pulsating pressure can be reduced, so that the possibility of local damage and even toppling of the fishtail pier is reduced, and the economic benefit and the safety guarantee of the facility are increased.
