The invention discloses a socket and spigot joint module assembling type circular double-wall steel cofferdam which comprises wall body units, connecting pre-tightening devices, socket and spigot joint concave types, socket and spigot joint convex types and communicating holes. One side of each wall body unit is provided with the socket and spigot joint concave type, the other side of each wall body unit is provided with the socket and spigot joint convex type, and the socket and spigot joint concave types and the socket and spigot joint convex types are sequentially and mutually spliced to form an annular structure; the upper side of each wall body unit is provided with the socket and spigot joint concave type, the lower side of each wall body unit is provided with the socket and spigot joint convex type, and the socket and spigot joint concave types and the socket and spigot joint convex types are mutually spliced to form an up-and-down multi-layer structure; and the communicating holes are formed in the wall body units at the lower sides.
