A socket and spigot type flue splicing method is characterized by comprising the following steps of a, arranging a socket and spigot type flue, b, arranging a flue end face structure, c, arranging a flue spigot end, d, arranging a flue socket end, e, arranging a flue connector plug, fully coating exposed gaps of flue joint surfaces with polymer cement paste after the flues are spliced, and sealing the exposed gaps. Polymer cement paste is fully coated at the joint of the bell and spigot of the outer wall of the flue, and glass fiber gridding cloth is hung outside the polymer cement paste for sealing. The splicing method for the socket-and-spigot type flue has the advantages that the phenomena of slab staggering, deviation and non-perpendicularity in the flue splicing and butt joint process are avoided, and the socket-and-spigot type flue is high in splicing efficiency and good in quality.
