The invention discloses a preparation method of a crack-free zirconium hydride neutron moderation material, which comprises the steps of 1, carrying out cold pressing on zirconium hydride powder to obtain a zirconium hydride blank; and 2, placing the zirconium hydride blank in a high-temperature hydrogenation furnace, continuously introducing hydrogen for powder metallurgy sintering, and obtaining the crack-free zirconium hydride neutron moderation material after the zirconium hydride blank is taken out. On the basis of the cold pressing and powder metallurgy sintering process, the high-temperature dehydrogenation phenomenon of the blank is effectively avoided, the internal stress in the sintered zirconium hydride is reduced, the phenomenon that the sintered zirconium hydride cracks and breaks is prevented, the compactness of the sintered zirconium hydride is improved, the zirconium hydride neutron moderation material which is large in density, high in hydrogen content and free of cracks is obtained, and the method is suitable for manufacturing neutron moderation parts of thermal neutron reactors.
本发明公开了一种无裂纹氢化锆中子慢化材料的制备方法,该方法包括:一、将氢化锆粉末进行冷压压制,得到氢化锆坯料;二、将氢化锆坯料放置于高温氢化炉中,并持续通入氢气进行粉末冶金烧结,取出后得到无裂纹氢化锆中子慢化材料。本发明基于冷压及粉末冶金烧结工艺,有效避免了坯料高温脱氢现象,减少了烧结后氢化锆中的内应力,防止了烧结后的氢化锆出现裂纹而发生破裂,提高了烧结后的氢化锆的致密性,得到密度大、氢含量高且无裂纹的氢化锆中子慢化材料,适用于制造热中子反应堆中子慢化部件。
