A check block is arranged in each first sinking groove and can slide up and down, a second sinking groove is formed in the upper end face of each check block, a blocking net is arranged in each second sinking groove, after the transverse plate on any side moves towards the stand column under external force, the check block on the other side upwards stretches out of the first sinking grooves, and the blocking nets can be unfolded on the outer sides of the transverse plates. After the transverse plate continues to move towards the vertical column, the stop block and the blocking net on the stress side upwards extend out of the first sinking groove and the second sinking groove correspondingly; and different buffering and blocking effects are provided through the springs, the check blocks and the blocking nets at different times when the transverse plates are collided, the safety coefficient of the protective fence is greatly improved, and the safety of pedestrians and vehicles on the opposite side is effectively protected.
