The invention discloses a solar photovoltaic module cooling device with a self-cleaning function. The solar photovoltaic module cooling device comprises a solar photovoltaic module, a rainwater collection box, a liquid collection tank, a liquid distribution box, a porous medium material layer, a V-shaped liquid collection tank, a liquid distribution pipe and the like. The porous medium material layer is adhered to the back surface of the photovoltaic module, and the tail end of the porous medium material layer is immersed in the V-shaped liquid collecting tank. The bottom liquid collecting tank is used for collecting and filtering the rainwater and cooling water on the photovoltaic module and guiding the rainwater and the cooling water into the liquid collecting tank. A water pump in the liquid collecting tank pumps the cooling water in the tank into the liquid distribution box, and the liquid distribution box provides the cooling water for a spray cooling device and the V-shaped liquid collecting tank. According to the passive photovoltaic cooling device provided by the invention, the solar photovoltaic panel can be effectively cooled, the floating dust on the surface of the photovoltaic module also can be washed away, and the surface of the photovoltaic module is kept clean. The solar photovoltaic module cooling device is a novel photovoltaic module thermal management mode, the working temperature of the solar photovoltaic module can be effectively controlled, and the power generation output efficiency of the solar photovoltaic module is improved.
