The planting matrix comprises a growth layer, wherein the growth layer is formed by a mixture of formula soil and filling particles according to a volume ratio of (5-8): 5, a planting pit for planting gingko is reserved in the growth layer, and the mass water content of the growth layer is 25-40%; and a maintenance device arranged on the growth layer, wherein the maintenance device is a hollow columnar piece, and the hollow columnar piece is filled with a mixture of a nutrient solution and loam suitable for growth of gingko. The hollow columnar piece is arranged in the growth layer of the planting system, so that the nutrient solution added in the earlier stage can slowly seep out, various nutrient solutions and medicaments can be conveniently injected in the later stage, the labor and mechanical cost of gingko maintenance is greatly reduced, and the load of the planting system is also increased.
