The invention relates to the technical field of ecological concrete, and discloses ecological water-permeable foam wheat straw concrete and a preparation method thereof. The ecological water-permeable foam wheat straw concrete comprises the following components by weight: 10-35 parts of cement, 8-16 parts of sinter slag powder, 10-25 parts of light recycled crushed aggregate, 1-5 parts of a foaming agent, 8-28 parts of water, 20-55 parts of cactus mucilage, 10-35 parts of wheat straw powder and 10-30 parts of a photocatalyst. The cactus mucilage is added in the preparation process, so that water can be fully and preliminarily purified in the using process of the pervious concrete, the cost is low, and safety and environment friendliness are achieved; the cactus mucilage can further improve the viscosity of the concrete; and by adding the photocatalyst, the prepared concrete pavement can be ensured to generate an air purification effect through photocatalyst reaction, so that purification of motor vehicle exhaust is facilitated, and the health state of surrounding vegetation and residents is also facilitated.
