The roof batten connecting piece comprises a connecting piece body and clamping parts formed at the two ends of the connecting piece body, wherein the connecting piece body is provided with a pressing face, the clamping part at any end comprises a connecting part and bending parts extending out of the edges of the two sides of the connecting part, the bending parts are oppositely arranged, and a clamping fastening space is defined by the connecting part and the bending parts on the two sides. The roof batten connecting piece is used for achieving grooving connection and fixing the roof batten when the roof batten is embedded, achieving the purpose of providing anti-drawing and anti-falling fixing force for the roof batten, providing continuous connection for grooving of a T-shaped component, being capable of bearing loads in the full-dimension direction and providing a special connection function with various components, and therefore an economical and safe roof system is obtained.
