The invention relates to the technical field of floor fixing, and particularly relates to a novel positioning piece and a keel for mounting the positioning piece. The novel positioning piece comprises a positioning seat and a positioning pin, wherein a connecting plate is integrally formed at the top of the positioning seat; a vertically downward connecting arm is integrally formed at each of the two ends of the connecting plate; a clamping hook is integrally formed at the lower end of each connecting arm; a mounting hole is formed in the middle of the positioning seat and penetrates through the upper surface and the lower surface of the positioning seat; the positioning pin is mounted in the mounting hole; the lower end of the positioning pin is flush with the lower surface of the positioning seat; and the upper end of the positioning pin is higher than the upper surface of the positioning seat. The positioning piece with a novel design structure is convenient and quick to assemble and mount, and can effectively prevent the end part of a floor from moving outwards; and meanwhile, the positioning piece is small in size and is hidden below the floor during mounting, so that a larger gap between the end part of the floor and an object close to the end part can be avoided, and the overall attractiveness of floor laying is improved.
