The invention discloses an urban road drainage system. The urban road drainage system comprises a traffic lane, a sidewalk and a water collecting system arranged between the traffic lane and the sidewalk, wherein the pavement of the traffic lane adopts an asphalt pavement, the sidewalk comprises a gravel layer and a plurality of concrete air bricks laid on the top of the gravel layer, the water collecting system comprises a water collecting tank, a top cover is arranged at the top of the water collecting tank, a second filter membrane layer is arranged on the upper end face of the top cover, a planting layer used for planting green plants is arranged on the second filter membrane layer, water on the traffic lane and the sidewalk is gathered in the water collecting tank through the planting layer, a water drainage pipe is fixed to the top cover, and the drain pipe is used for communicating the water collecting tank with the external space. The urban road drainage system not only can effectively solve the problem of water accumulation on the road surface, but also can realize rainwater collection.
