The invention relates to a preparation method of a graphite-based composite bipolar plate, and belongs to the technical field of batteries. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: (1) adding 60.0%-90.0% of a graphite matrix, 5.0%-30.0% of resin, 0-10.0% of a conductive filler and 0.1%-3.0% of a coupling agent into a mixing mill, and mixing the materials at 100-350 DEG C for 5-30 minutes to obtain a mixed mixture; (2) putting the mixed mixture in the step (1) into a screw extruder, and extruding the mixture at 100-350 DEG C to obtain a prefabricated plate; and (3) cutting the prefabricated plate obtained in the step (2) to obtain a prefabricated section plate, placing the prefabricated section plate in a pressing mold, and carrying out mold pressing at 100-350 DEG C to obtain the graphite-based composite bipolar plate. According to the preparation method of the graphite-based composite bipolar plate of the invention, the raw materials are treated and the prefabricated plate is prepared, so that the time of the mold pressing process is greatly shortened, the production efficiency is well improved, and continuous production can be realized.
