The sand box type temporary support comprises a steel drum and a large steel drum; one end of the steel drum is open, and the other end of the steel drum is welded and sealed by a steel plate; concrete is poured into the steel drum, and the concrete surface is flush with the opening of the steel drum; the upper end of the large steel drum is open, and the lower end of the large steel drum is welded and sealed by a steel plate; a proper amount of standard sand is placed at the middle lower part in the large steel drum; a sand unloading hole is formed in the side face of the closed end of the bottom of the large steel drum, and a nut is welded outside the sand unloading hole; the size of a screw hole of the nut is the same as that of the sand unloading hole; a screw rod is screwed into the screw hole of the nut welded outside the sand unloading hole, the front end of the screw rod is inserted into the sand unloading hole, and the screw rod and the nut are screwed tightly to block the sand unloading hole; and the opening of the steel drum filled with the concrete faces downwards, and the steel drum is inversely placed in the large steel drum filled with the standard sand to form the sand box type temporary support. The sand box type temporary support for erecting the bridge precast beam plate has the advantages of being sufficient in strength and rigidity, convenient to assemble and disassemble, uniform in beam falling and the like.
