Paving brick and preparation method thereof
The invention discloses a paving brick and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of building materials. The paving brick comprises 50-65 parts by weight of engineering spoil, 8-16 parts by weight of an alkali activator, 12-25 parts by weight of a mineral admixture, 1-2 parts by weight of a water reducer, and 10-20 parts by weight of water. The preparation method comprises the steps of: mixing the alkali activator and the mineral admixture, and stirring to a gelling state to obtain a gel mixture; adding the engineering spoil, the water reducer and the water into the gel mixture, and stirring to a semi-dry state to obtain a mixture; and pouring the mixture into a mold, pressing and vibrating for 5-10 seconds, and performing curing and demolding to obtain the paving brick. The problem that in the prior art, the engineering spoil is high in treatment cost and cannot be effectively recycled is solved. The paving brick is manufactured by using the engineering spoil as a main component, the manufactured paving brick has the effects of being high in compression resistance and breaking strength and good in quality, and meanwhile, the paving brick has the advantages of being simple in preparation method and low in cost.
