The vertical vibration reduction support is characterized in that a multi-frequency vibration absorption assembly capable of absorbing multi-frequency vibration is arranged in the middle seat plate, the multi-frequency vibration absorption assembly is correspondingly in elastic contact with the upper seat plate and the lower seat plate and synchronously deforms along with relative vertical movement of the upper seat plate and the lower seat plate, and the upper seat plate, the middle seat plate and the lower seat plate all have damping characteristics. Vibration of various frequencies can be absorbed, the defect that an existing vertical support is single in vibration absorption frequency is overcome, the damping capacity and the vertical deformation capacity of the whole support are higher, the vibration reduction efficiency of the support is effectively improved, the damping capacity and the vertical deformation capacity are higher, the support is simple in internal structure and not prone to being damaged, and the service life of the support is prolonged. The invention further provides a vibration reduction method of the vertical vibration reduction support.
