The spherical support with the vertical vibration reduction function comprises an upper support plate, a plane sliding pair is formed between the upper support plate and a spherical crown lining plate, a cambered surface sliding pair is formed between the spherical crown lining plate and a middle steel plate, a vibration reduction structure is arranged between the middle steel plate and a bottom basin, and a connecting assembly is further arranged in the bottom basin. The anti-vibration cushion layer is additionally arranged on the basis of the spherical support and is made of an elastomer material, and the spherical support has the advantages of being high in bearing capacity, good in elasticity, excellent in anti-aging performance and anti-fatigue performance and the like. According to the overall structure, the effective height of the support is guaranteed and the operation condition of the anti-vibration cushion layer is judged by arranging the restraint ring. Compared with a common support, the vertical vibration reduction function can be achieved, upper vibration transmitted to a lower foundation is effectively reduced, meanwhile, compared with a spherical support of a conventional structure, the shape and height size change is not obvious, and obvious economical efficiency is achieved.
