The invention relates to the technical field of wallboard hoisting construction, and provides a large-size thin-wall prefabricated bay window outer wallboard hoisting, positioning and mounting method which comprises the following steps: S1, surveying and setting out to determine a mounting station of an upper prefabricated outer wallboard; s2, a plurality of vertically-arranged longitudinal positioning rods are installed at the top of the outdoor face of the lower prefabricated external wall panel; s3, two sets of transverse jacks are erected on the floor slab and located on the two sides of the upper prefabricated external wall panel mounting station correspondingly; s4, the upper prefabricated external wall panel is hoisted to the position above the floor slab through hoisting equipment; s5, the outdoor face of the upper prefabricated external wall panel abuts against the longitudinal positioning rods; s6, the transverse position of the upper prefabricated external wall panel is adjusted through cooperation of hoisting equipment and two sets of transverse jacks; s7, the upper prefabricated external wall panel is lowered by the hoisting equipment until the upper prefabricated external wall panel falls in place; and S8, a plurality of inclined supporting pieces are installed between the upper prefabricated external wall panel and the floor slab. The method has the effect of reducing the hoisting construction difficulty of the prefabricated external wall panel.
