The invention provides an assembly type stretchable steel bar straight thread connecting device. The assembly type stretchable steel bar straight thread connecting device comprises a first thread sleeve, a second thread sleeve and a connecting sleeve. Internal threads of the first thread sleeve and the second thread sleeve are used for being screwed with external threads of a first steel bar thread head and a second steel bar thread head to form a first thread pair and a second thread pair correspondingly. External threads of the first thread sleeve are screwed with internal threads of the connecting sleeve to form a third thread pair. A conical hole is formed in one end of the connecting sleeve, and the diameter size of the conical hole is gradually reduced from inside to outside. A first conical face is arranged at one end of the outer side face of the second thread sleeve, and the first conical face and the conical hole of the connecting sleeve are equal in taper and make contact. The invention further discloses an assembly type stretchable steel bar straight thread connecting method. According to the assembly type stretchable steel bar straight thread connecting device and the assembly type stretchable steel bar straight thread connecting method, under the conditions that two steel bars cannot move in the radial direction and the axial direction and cannot rotate, and deviation dislocation exists in spiral lines of threads of the two steel bar thread heads, reliable connection between the two steel bars is achieved, and prestress tension is applied.
